HR's Response 8 Days Later...
Over the past several months, there has been much conversation with IPS Academic Team and school leaders around the direction and implementation of the 6-5-10 Framework, for the current year. We’ve heard the concerns presented by schools leaders and have decided the time to act is now. We want to ensure these metrics are intentional and a fair assessment of the work you, your colleagues and school leaders are doing to make your schools great. As such, the district has decided to remove the 6-5-10 Framework from Teacher Evaluations for the 2018-19 school year.
This is a tremendous opportunity to create a framework that addresses the current challenges! We are committed to redesign and launch a new goal setting framework for the 2019-20 school year that is intentional, fair and responsive. This week, the district kicked off the first meeting of a working group committed to developing the new framework and we are excited to keep you informed on the progress and collaborative effort to make it better!
